RoVena is a 501c(3) organization based in New York which reimagines education for refugees.

Our mission is to create, implement, and fund quality secondary and post-secondary education solutions outside of the camp environment for Rohingya in Bangladesh.

Our vision is to provide RoVena solutions for other refugee communities globally. 

RoVena is Rohingya + Vein

and seeks to be a life-affirming channel.

RoVena bridges the gap in quality Rohingya higher education which is not addressed by NGO-supported camp learning centers, community-led Rohingya schools, or host governments. 

RoVena Operates on a Three Tier Model

  • Mentorship and discipline-specific educational workshops for Rohingya youth.

  • Connect Rohingya talent with cooperating institutions abroad.

  • Advocate for inclusive policy reform in national education systems.
